Here is the recipe for the very Best Ever Banana Bread!
1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
2 ripe medium bananas, mashed
2 ripe medium bananas, mashed
1/2 cup veg oil
1/4 cup milk (shh...secret ingredient...add 1 tsp of lemon juice to milk)
1 tsp vanilla
In large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking soda and salt. In another mixing bowl, combine eggs, bananas, oil, milk and vanilla, making sure to take out all of the lumps from the banana (this is where lots of people go wrong....we don't want chunky banana bread after all! ). Add wet ingredients to flour mixture, stirring just until combined. Pour into greased 9x4x3 inch baking dish. Bake at 325 degrees F for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until bread tests done. Cool on wire rack. Yield 1 loaf, recipe does not double well.
