Feeling

Have you ever watched someone going through a very difficult season in life? It may be a traumatic time caused by an illness or marital problems, it could be financial or physical. I have noticed that sometimes there is numbness... a quiet, cold, loss of feeling. I guess it might make one seem safe like in a cocoon that you build around yourself wrapping the strands of silk so you can quietly heal. But it is after that healing time when the cocoon opens up, and so does your soul...to begin to feel so that you too can fly. A new time has come, the same person with new wings. As spring is here, I encourage you to allow yourself to feel. Embrace the wind on your face, and the soft grass in your toes. Maybe enjoy a thunderstorm on the porch, to remind you what you too have come through. And remember He is always there for you.

161) warm wind on face
162) soft grass in toes
163) the wrapped arms of a child snugly around my waist
164) the deep rumble of laughter as I tuck little one into bed
165) the pain of the cross
166) the joy of redemption
167) wind whipped hair
168) soft puppy fur, warm little ones heart
169) music in my soul
170) smooth stones, running water...spring
